Opportunities for Students
The Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions provides a number of ways for students from the Nicholas School of the Environment, as well as other Duke units and universities to engage in projects.
We have research assistantship positions open to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students during the school year as well as internship opportunities during the summer. These range from research on federal offset policy to state research on coastal management to international research on climate change adaptation.
Students can also work directly with Institute staff on their thesis or masters projects and take courses with our staff. Explore more opportunities to engage with the Institute by clicking on the links below.
