The Supreme Court on Monday upheld most of the Obama administration’s environmental rules aimed at limiting greenhouse gases from power plants.

Profeta's research focuses on cost-effective options for using energy policies to meet the nation’s goal for technology innovation and environmental protection. Much of his work focuses on the Clean Air Act and adaptive use of current laws to address environmental challenges.
